Sunshine on a Rainy Day!

After ten days of fantastic weather all the way
from Vancouver we disembarked at Whittier on a cold,
grey, rainy day prompting one of our group to remark
that she "would have to return in summer". The
weather did not improve but our mood did after we
met our guide/driver, John, who would provide all
the sunshine we needed! Our family group of 16 had
booked the all day Whittier to Anchorage tour with
drop off at the airport and at a downtown hotel, It
was a lot cheaper than the cruise ship transfer and
proved once again to be more personalized and
convenient. John quickly loaded our 28 seater and we
were off long before the cruise ship bus. All the
stops were interesting and the children really
enjoyed the Wildlife Refuge and feeding the Deer at
the Wildberry Farm, even though we often had to take
refuge from the rain ourselves. The Tram Ride at the
Alyeska Ski Resort was great fun although our view
was mainly the inside of a cloud. The highlight of
the day was undoubtedly the willing, accommodating,
cheerful demeanor of John. We would recommend Alaska
Cruise Transfers and Tours without hesitation or
reservation. Many Thanks to them and to John

Wonderful Experience!

If you are looking for a transfer from Anchorage to
your cruise ship in Whittier, this is the company to
use. They delivered our party of 15 from Airport in
Anchorage to Whittier without any worries. We found our
driver at the designated area at the airport with no
problems and right on time. The bus was actually a large
motor coach which is why we choose this company (we
prefer to travel in large coaches due to comfort and
safety). Our driver was very friendly and helpful with
our luggage and made sure we were taken care of our
whole trip. We chose the trip with stops along the way,
which were great (Beluga Point, Wildlife and Glacier).
We arrived at our Princess ship on time and were dropped
off directly at the luggage drop off. We have learned
lots of history and fun facts about Alaska from the
audio tour. My family was very pleased with the service
that I had booked for them and thanked me for the great
choice of company for a very important part of our
vacation - connecting transportation to our cruise line.

Nice way to travel from Anchorage to

Having already busted the budget with the train ride
from Anchorage to Denali, we decided to use this service
for their four-hour tour/transfer from Anchorage to
Seward. The one-hour stop at the Wildlife Center was
interesting and was our only chance to see Lynx (came up
short at Denali NP). Efficient/punctual service. If you
are departing on a cruise, this option gives you much
more time to explore Seward (which is quite interesting)
than the late-arriving train.

My son and I were on a 7 night cruise that ended in
Seward Ak. I started looking for options for getting to
Anchorage for our flight that night. I found Alaska
Cruise transfer. They have several options from direct
service to longer tours with stops at attractions. We
chose the 8 hour tour and it was wonderful. Our driver
James was great and had lots of stories and jokes to
keep us entertained. We did not leave on schedule as
some folks were late off the ship. We stopped at a state
park and walked to Exit Glacier. We also stopped at
Nature center. Could have used a little more time there
as we basically had to run through. We also went to MT
Aleski and took the tram to the top. We also got a
delicious sandwich along the way. It was a great way to
spend the day getting to Anchorage. I would highly
recommend this company.

Outstanding customer support!

I wanted to share my experience with this company and
how accommodating they were. I had made a reservation
with Alaska Cruise Transfers online on their website. I
have received a confirmation e-mail instantly. I booked
for 8 people for my friends for travel from Anchorage to
Seward well in advance. About one week prior to our
travel date we found out that 2 people in our party
could not make it to Alaska. They cancelled their cruise
due to medical problems. I had called the Alaska Cruise
Transfers office and asked if I could get a refund for
those people. They were very accommodating, they did not
ask many questions and said that this will be refunded
because of the medical circumstances. They sent me an
updated e-mail confirmation and refunded the difference.
The rest of our party took the transfer on our scheduled
date and very much enjoed the whole experience. The bus
was large and comfortable, the narration interesting,
the driver was friendly and caring. After we were
dropped off at our hotel Holiday Inn Express, and after
the bus departed, I discovered that I had lost my camera
case (not something very valuable, but I had my camera's
battery in it and I really liked that case). I had
called the office, and asked if they had found something
like this on the bus. They had called me back after a
few minutes and said they found it. Their office staff
personally delivered my camera case to my hotel!
Needless to say I was very impressed with the level of
service, understanding and accommodating of the
traveller's needs. They really cared about my experience
with them!

Amazing Transfer and Tour, MUST DO!

We used Alaska Cruise Transfers and Tours for our
transfer with a short tour from Seward to Anchorage
after we disembarked our cruise this August. This was a
highlight of our trip. The whole experience was very
smooth, comfortable and accommodating. We disembarked
the cruise ship and found our driver by our luggage
inside the terminal. Our driver, Mike, helped us to the
bus and loaded our luggage. We seated inside the bus
while waiting for other passengers who reserved the same
transfer/tour. The bus was very comfortable, one of
those large motor coaches that are high, with large
seats and restroom (which was necessary for our parents
and very helpfull on a 4 hour trip). At our scheduled
departure time and once all the passengers were seated
in the bus, we took off on Seward Hwy, it was truly a
breathtaking drive! All the mountains, lakes, glaciers,
forest and so on were absolutely gorgeous (we don't have
anything like this in our home state). The recording on
the bus was very informative, sometimes funny, and a
delight to listen to. It had an in depth history, many
details, and was intresting to follow all the facts and
points on the highway. We had stopped for a picture
break, then made a stop at the Wildlife Center Park.
This was our only chance to see the wildlife - bears,
moose, caribou, lynx, deer, and bison. Our children
really enjoyed it, especially the baby moose! We were
dropped off at the hotel of our choice which was the
Sheraton in downtown Anchorage right at the scheduled
time. We trully enjoyed the beautiful drive,
detailed tour, our very accommodating and friendly
driver, safe and comfortable coach with restroom, and
timely/puctual service and we would recommend anyone to
use this company for your cruise transfer and a must do
short tour!

"Loved the all day tour"

Our family of 6 booked the all day tour from Seward
to Anchorage. It was so worth the money! We were met at
the cruise ship terminal by our driver Renee, who
directed us to the comfortable bus outside the cruise
ship terminal. After she found all of the groups, she
proceeded to give us a tour of Seward, we then had a
blast on a short walk to the Exit Glacier, where we took
great pictures and got pretty close to the glacier. I
have to say the weather was sunny and warm, it was the
best day to do this tour. We then proceeded on a very
scenic drive to the Wildlife Park, we spend about 1 and
15 min there, looking at some Alaskan wildlife up close.
We then went up the Alyeska tram to experience a
breathtaking scenery of glaciers, mountains, and ocean.
We were provided sandwich, chips, and drink. We then
drove to Anchorage where Rennee gave us a tour with
stops at various places. We had a wonderful time. It was
MUCH cheaper than the cruise transfer. Everything was
included, we did not have to pay anything but tips to
the driver. Our driver was safe, very pleasant, and
informative. We were very satisfied with this
experience. It was a great finish to our Alaskan
vacaion.

“Great Customer Service”
I was impressed with this company. When we
encountered some glitches in our travel plans, Ana the
office manager, took care of them swiftly and
efficiently. The company has a great understanding of
travelers' needs and strives for customer satisfaction.
The cruise lines charge three times as much as the tour
bus, which includes a scenic stop and interesting
commentary along the way. I would not hesitate to
recommend Alaska Cruise Transfers and Tours.

“Educational enjoyment”
Aug 08, 2011 by

We really didn\'t know what to expect from this trip
except we would be seeing scenery and have a change to
stop at a wilderness park and receive a snack for a more
economical price than the cruise lines charge. The bus
was very nice with and the driver was very knowledgeable
in educating us about Alaska\'s people, weather,
economy, history, and landscape. At one point a
recording was played to educate us further on Alaska\'s
history, it could have been louder. The wilderness stop
was really great. There was not enough time to see the
whole complex. However, overall for what we did
experience it was a great start to our vacation.

“Excellent Customer Service, Fair
prices, On time, Comfortable Transportation”
We are a family of 5 from Florida and saved a lot of
money. I am happy to say that not only is Alaska Cruise
Transfers and Tours is a Reputable Company but Ana their
main contact is awesome. She answered all my questions
and handled our transportation/ luggage from our Hotel-
Holiday Inn Express in Anchorage to Port Whittier to
board the Coral Princess on time and in a warm, clean,
and comfortable Motor Coach. Each Seat was taken, so
book early. We took the 3 hour Tour and the stop at
Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center was well worth it.
Beyond the BBB even The Wildlife Center confirmed that
Alaska Cruise Transfers and Tours have been bringing
their passenger busses for more than several years. I am
a cautious person and know this because I always check
things out thoroughly. Pam Perez

“Good service”
I came off a
cruise and didn't
want to pay the
exorbitant price the
cruise ship charged
for a transfer from
Whittier to
Anchorage. I googled
and found this
company, but no real
reviews (everyone
who has reviewed
this company has
only written one
review on this site,
kinda fishy). So I
took a chance and
booked the three
hour wildlife tour
anyways. The bus was
actually full with
about 52 people. It
was on time at the
cruise terminal. The
driver (I forget his
name, but he drives
school buses during
the year) provided
good commentary. We
stopped at the
conservation center
for about 45
minutes. That wasn't
long enough. An hour
probably would've
been better. There
was, however, no
tour of Anchorage
unless you count
driving around the
downtown area
dropping people off.
All in all, I was
pleased with the
service. I would use
it again if I needed
a transfer from
Whittier.

“On
Time, Interesting Stops,
Not a Shuttle”
I chose this
Alaska Cruise
Transfers for my
party from a web
search. The web site
and quick and
courteous email
response was
encouraging, and the
cost per person was
less than the
cruise-ship company
price. I was
relieved when the
driver arrived at
our hotel at 1 pm on
August 28, 2010, for
the 65-mile trip
from Whittier to
Anchorage. It was
more than just a
transfer. We stopped
along the way at
three interesting
places: a whale
watching spot off
the highway, a
animal refuge where
we got up close to
magnificent animals,
and a small state
museum with
high-tech exhibits.
The small bus
carrying some two
dozen passengers was
reasonably
comfortable and easy
to climb in and out
of. The driver was
in touch with the
office by cell phone
when necessary. He
was amiable and
answered questions
about living in
Alaska for us
first-time visitors.
Soon we were at the
amazing tunnel
drilled through the
mountain that took
us to the shores of
Prince William Sound
and our ship, with
time to spare. It
was a nice start to
our adventure.

Incredible Value!

I have used
Alaska Cruise
Transfer in June of
2010 to get to my
Royal Princess
cruise ship and I
have to say that it
was an incredible
value. Not only did
I get a lower price
while traveling in
style – I also got
to experience
beautiful
sightseeing tour
offered by company.
In my book this is a
truly incredible
value provided by
very punctual and
courteous folks
behind it.
